I was happy with the host called Amrith Khatwani where he made my stay at the hotel extremely special. The.bedding was of a very good quality too with huge pillows and the room was really quiet. The architecture and decor of the whole hotel is just stunning.Very well located, 2 minutes away from Russell Sq tube station. I was rather excited to stay at the Kimpton Fitzroy in London, mainly because I’d taken a sneak peek at Instagram, not even their Instagram just a search, and had stumbled across an outpouring of gorgeous-ness, of British glamour and quirky details, and couldn’t wait to indulge. Though we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend our operations, we recognize that communities connect in unprecedented ways – whether sharing the same space or not – in trying times like these. I also found the tables too close together so we could hear the next table's entire conversation. Different areas and a nice café inside the hotel if you need to work or want to chill.

Our corner suite was lovely and spotlessly clean, with a bath in the window, good quality toiletries and a tuck box. I found the rooms clean. I’m going to take you back, way back to spring of 2002 when I was studying abroad in London and living off Russell Square.

It looked good when we booked it and the location seemed great, close to British Museum and Covent Garden. Their gym is huge for a hotel gym.
I am delighted to read that Amrith looked after you so well and had such a positive impact on your visit. The occasional fruit platter or chocolate cake dessert was a nice touch.
The lifts were very efficient but a table in the corridor leading to our bedroom was not cleared of dirty room service items over night, there was a plastic bag of rubbish and dirty plates all over it.
The actual hotel is beautiful throughout with lovely marble fireplaces. Beautiful night bar open till late.
