The characters are becoming more real and defined with each season.
Very funny; only problem is that I purchased the whole season, and Episode 2 is "unavailable"--with no explanation. If you haven't seen this show, you are missing a real gem! Every season of this show is great! I want to work as a waiter at Café Tropical (if for no other reason than to serve Moira her signature fruit cup). This is now my go to comedy show when I need a laugh.
And, Twyla, the waitress, is Eugene Levy's real daughter, i.e., Sarah Levy.
This series is awesome and so refreshing. The show has grown into itself.

Love the connection developing with Stevie and her surrogate family. The double word meaning comedy can't possibly be written or delivered better. I just Love all the Levy's and O'Hara ....all amazing!

Dad Johnny (played by Eugene Levy) is the voice of reason in this wonderful show about a family who has lost everything. SCHITT'S CREEK IS THE BEST COMEDY OUT THERE! I want to shop at David and Patrick's adorable apothecary shop. Watching the Roses adjust to a far humbler existence in Schitt's Creek has been a delight and season 5 continues their journey past acceptance into attempts to embody their best selves. My only critique is too much emphasis is put on trying to convey gays are like normal people.
Keep up the good writing! The show matures and finds it's hold as a staple tv show in the comedy genre. The writers seem to truly love their characters and want to see them happy.

Each is superb in their acting to make it great. This page works best with JavaScript. The best show -- funny, nuanced, brilliant cast, terrific writing. What i love is that even though the characters are being satirized they are totally human and lovable in their own weird way. Since I purchase my Season through Amazon (since my current cable package does not have POP channel), I get to watch it the very next day after it runs.
