whatever you reply it will be your opinion and opinions are like belly buttons, everybody has one.To me playing with one or the other is exactly the same thing. In my opinion Sony actually got it wrong with the PS3 controller when they removed the support base from the PS1/2 controller for the L2 and R2 buttons without changing the shape of the button to something more "triggerish" instead of keeping it "buttonish", now you don´t have a good support when you press the button and your finger slips which in many games ended up making the R1/L1 button the "fire button" which was "odd", now the problem is solved, they gave the PS4 controller more "triggerish" L2/R2 buttons. Every generation, two virtually identical consoles spark huge amounts of debate. In other words, there’s no accounting for taste. With that out of the way, I’d argue there is one objective argument one could make in the PlayStation 5 vs Xbox Series X debate: the,Microsoft on the other hand, offers a very traditional controller that uses an arguably. But let’s be real, there are some differences between the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 besides the DualSense that could convince the non-fanatical gamers. After all, not many Japanese people own an American Xbox Series X, and most Americans won’t prefer a PlayStation 5.So I guess what I’m trying to say, is that it’s okay to prefer one or another. I'll hold an Xbox controller from time to time and it just feels awkward to me. For a thorough look at both controllers, check out our Xbox One vs PS4 controller showdown. Not too fond of the stupid touch pad and light bar crap though.Xbox's controller was always the best and I still think the 360 controller is better than both the Xbox One and PS4 controllers. It's far more comfortable for extended sessions - that said I still like the DS4 quite a lot (and the touch pad when it's used well)!I'm not sure I understand, if you put your hands infront of you naturally your thumbs are point upwards, so naturally having the thumb stick in the position of how the 360 controller is, then thats a more natural way, unlike using a DS3/4 you have to pull your thumbs down already to the analog sitcks already putting pressure on your thumbs and giving you a less stable hold, making it that much more difficult to be precise, I'm not saying it's over pressure because i'm using a DS4 all the time, and I don't mind it, I feel as tho a 360 analog is more suited to a natural grip without added pressure, not saying i'm a huge fan of the controller itself but i love the analog placement, I can be so much more precise in games due to having a bit more of a freedom with my thumb.Playstation simply because of the symmetry. The only tging which feels natural is the two analogs being directly across from each other that is what feels natural. The OP talks about the left stick being up higher feels more natural but i dont think it possibly can.My question for those of you who prefer xbox controllers is why don't you ever complain about the right analog being so low? What do you guys think?I honestly think its a losing mentality, the president of Sony should go with what is preferred, or at least have a second layout trial. When I hold a PlayStation controller, my thumb naturally rests on the d-pad, which is great for classic 2D games where the d-pad is prefered, but for most modern games where the analog stick is prefered, I have to stretch my thumb away from it's natural resting position to move it further to the right and down, which becomes uncomfortable after a while. $39.99 $ 39. The PS3 controller to me is not natural, I have to extend my thumb downwards to aim, or move. The PlayStation 5 vs Xbox Series X debate is no different. But does it really matter what strangers prefer? That said, let's break down the main features each one has. Surely if you you think its a stretch down for the left stick then you also dont like the right stick being low? Is there anything sensible to say about someone preferring Pepsi over Coca Cola? There is no better layout. That being said, the Hori Onyx is one of the most affordable PS4 controllers with the Xbox One controller layout. That's not true. I'm pretty sure that is what the issue is for most people. More Buying Choices $29.99 (8 used & new offers) PS3/PS4 to Xbox One Controller Adapter. I don't understand why anybody would say one layout is better than the other.I find the Xbox layout to be good for racing and FPS otherwise I do prefer Playstation style.I always preferred the 360/XBone layout. Best of both worlds, would be to keep their layout, and release an official Sony controller with the thumb sticks the same as 360. Is it fair to judge people that are siding with ‘their’ brand?Does a brand really have the power to sway someone who’s been drinking a certain beverage all their life?
