Do not press it too quick or the game may not get your keys. i was looking at other forums online and some people are saying the same thing on other sites. Sometimes the UI indicators don't get updated in games when you change the bindings.
Try to press A and D in the speed shown on the screen. luckily they were pretty rare.

I have gotten so frustrated watching Laura die over and over an over during all the melee battles. The wolf den QTE seems to be wonky in that if you're playing at high settings it lags even if the rest of the game doesn't. If you're playing the PC version of Tomb Raider, you may be having trouble with the quicktime events—enough that you're just watching Lara die over and over again every time a QTE pops up.

Ам. I just spent about an hour on this stupid game.
Plus the quick time events are stupid they don't tell me what button to press it just shows a symbol sometimes the symbol is totally bizarre, what does a red exclamation mean?! The other qtes have symbols, like the hand or the leg. Even without icons it's usually pretty clear which action is required, as there're only three used in QTEs - use/grab, melee and evade.It says that the skull icon is F at the part where Fixer grabs your legs at the beginning, but I couldn't see that because the subtitles cover command prompts.

I've tried adjusting the aim sensitivity all the way up and down but it doesn't seem to do anything at all; there seems to be literally zero difference between MAX and MIN aim sensitivity on the controller. Alle rechten voorbehouden.

And the damn subtitles block some of the icons. Finally found this little gem. I'm 33% of the way into the game, according to the save game menu, and I've died at least once on.This bit is slightly off-topic but I don't want to start a whole thread to ask one question so here goes: is there any way to get some sort of auto-aim for the controller on the PC?
The wolf den QTE seems to be wonky in that if you're playing at high settings it lags even if the rest of the game doesn't. You have a split second to hit the right key IF you manage to make happy with the A & D keys.
I'm not playing any more until there's a patch.
