One of the opening acts (Rick Hood, DJ) was pretty underwhelming and unprofessional but the other three (Cuzz Lightyear, Gangsta Boo and Gaslamp Killer) were phenomenal and incredibly entertaining. Very good show. Zombie Juice's crazy dynamic rumble of a voice had so much range and his companions, meechy darko and Erick arc Elliot were tight. I don't know how they write, deliver AND memorize all those verses.
Definitely recommend seeing RTJ if you're into rap music. High energy performances from both MCs, and after the show as I was leaving Smart bar, the club next to the Metro, I wanted to take a picture of the marquee but it had already been changed for the next night's show. The quality of the performance itself was amazing and it was nice to see that they brought BOOTS and Danny Brown our for their features on 2100 and Hey Kids (both of which were great).
