Even if, like me, your role in life is to EAT cake, rather then embellish it, this book is an amazing. Saw her show on Netflix and was pleasantly surprised to find this cookbook. My one complaint would be I wish there were more pictures. She is my spooky sister spirit animal. The good, the bad, the long, the short—it’s all here. McConnell's sense of humor is great, and while she keeps things classy this is a really dark, creepy book. It is unlikely that I would make many of these desserts but it is certainly interesting to know they exist. On 12th June 2014, she shared the picture with a boy and on the same date, she posted another picture with the same boy with a caption we are having a nice time…. . Taking inspiration from the likes of Tim Burton, Wes Craven, Alfred Hitchcock, and Vincent Price and mixing in a dash of Stepford Wife, McConnell’s baking and home DIY projects are a league above and beyond anything you've seen before. McConnell prefers a low key media and does not talk much about her love life to the public.
