Ingredients for Superior Kibble: In Scorched Earth the Thylacoleo spawns at the edges of the dunes and on low lying cliffs. 8.

Note that creatures will have different stats in Survival of the Fittest, Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Mammoths generally thrive in colder areas, and have a herd mentality. Thylacoleo will maliciously attack any player so be wary in the redwood forests. Engaging in melee attacks can be extremely dangerous. However it can only move up and down trees, cliffs or any other climbable surface.

You can use a Quetzal or an Argentavis to grab a Thylacoleo right off the tree and render it harmless.

Its leaping attack is not a certain hit, meaning that your flying mount can evade it by adjusting the direction it flies before it actually hits you. If it is on the ground it will pursue the player only when really close.
If you spotted it from far away, you can use a range weapon to shoot it to force it to fall from its tree.

Aberration, a malfunctioned, subterranean ARK. It is a saving grace that Wild Thylacoleos are not particularly good at predicting movement, and thus fast targets are relatively safe. This section is intended to be an exact copy of what the survivor Helena Walker, the author of the dossiers, has written. Use caution when taming a Mammoth as the location in which they spawn (the snow biome) is usually littered with animals that want to kill you and the low temperatures will slowly drain your life, if unable to protect yourself against the weather, you might want to try and kite them out of the snow biome into the warmer jungle. It is a gentle creature towards humans and happily laps up food directly from them. Rather fascinating when compared to modern whales and dolphins, the Basilosaurus had visible hind limbs that are much more intact compared to the hind limb remnants found in modern cetacean skeletons.

Its knockback effect can be extremely dangerous (be careful while attacking them near a cliff).

The dossier was revealed by Jat on March 28, 2016.

On Ragnarok, it can also be found on the Rashaka Savannahislands alongside many Scorched Earth creatures. Be cautious while taming these, they can give you quite a scare when they jump on you from trees. The pounced target is unable to fight back, although the pounce itself may incur some fall damage. Its long claws and semi-opposable digits make it an apt climber, a quality that Thylacoleo uses to its advantage while hunting. 2 ×  Citronal, 1 ×  Prime Meat Jerky, 1 ×  Large Egg, 5 ×  Fiber, 2 ×  Rare Mushroom, 1 ×  Sap, Water.

Real world Basilosaurus would need air but like many aquatic creatures in Ark the Basilosaurus has no.

If you are not high level or have strong tames and you meet one on flat ground, run and try to get it stuck if you can keep running or tranq it. Out of its proud skull grows a kind of hair cap, like a crown. Basilosaurus are passive creatures and will not attack. You can climb a tall rock and shoot it with a crossbow or even a firearm if needed.
