These orcas spend their time between Scotland, Wales and Ireland and until 2016 it was believed that there were nine individuals in this tiny population. This project is the longest ongoing study of a resident population of bottlenose dolphins in the Mediterranean Sea focusing on dolphin population dynamics, photo – identification, behavioural sampling and acoustic monitoring.
